This is the second printing of STORIES AND CUSTOMS OF THE SHERPAS by Ngawang Tenzin Zangbu & Frances Klatzel. This book was published in Kathmandu by the Khumbu Cultural Conservation Committee in 1988. The book measures 213mm tall x 139mm, and has 46 pages, 4 color photos (two on covers and two in EPs), glossary, two maps. Mainly a description of Sherpa customs and life, with a chapter on the Tengboche Monastery. Though not indicated anywhere in the book, this is the second printing according to later editions that give the printing history.

CONDITION: Original staple-bound softcover. The book has light soiling to covers, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, is complete. Price: $6.
