This is the first printing of the first edition of BEYOND THE ICEFALL. AUSTRALIA'S EVEREST EXPEDITION by Sorel Wilby. This book was published in Frenchs Forest NSW Australia in 1989. This is the primary account of the 1988 Australian ascent of Everest without Sherpas via the Western Cwm & S Col route.

CONDITION: Original glossy pictorial hardcover with dust jacket that has similar design as that of the book cover. SIGNED by Sorel Wilby on the short-title page. The book and dust jacket are in fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, very clean, no rubbing, no tears, no loss, no fading. Basically new condition. Price: $35.
