This book was published in Toronto by Doubleday in 1980. The book measures 299mm tall x 226mm, and has 173 pages, 72 b/w & 66 colour photos, EP map, 6 maps, bibliography, index. Detailed description of Kluane National Park of Canada that encompasses the St Elias Mountains (Mt Logan, Mt St Elias, Mt Steele, Mt Kennedy, etc). Good chapter by Walter Wood on the history of climbing in the range along with accounts of his own climbs, & a chapter by Monty Alford giving an overview of climbing in the area. Includes chapters on geology, glaciers, flora & fauna, etc.

CONDITION: Original blue boards with silver lettering spine. The book has minor rubbing at the tips of the cover corners and along the bottom edge otherwise is in fine condition, clean, tight binding, no previous owner writing or marks on any pages, no foxing. The dust jacket is near fine with no tears, no chips, but has a price-clipped flap corner. Price: $30.
