This is the second printing of the first USA edition of Tiger Of The Snows: Autobiography Of Tenzing Of Everest by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa & James Ramsey Ullman. This is the same format with the same contents as the first printing; the only difference is the printing number on the copyright page. The book was published in 1955 by G.P. Putnam's Sons in New York. The book measures 219mm tall x 141mm, and has 294 pages, 26 b/w photos, 4 maps (1 is EP map). Mostly on Everest attempts & the success, but also very interesting for all the other much less known yet very extensive climbing experiences of Tenzing. Very interesting read.

CONDITION: Original dark blue cloth, small gilt decoration front, gilt lettering spine. The book is in excellent condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, tight binding, clean, no rubbing. The dust jacket is in better than usual condition with minor rubbing, clean 15mm tear upper front, price-clipped front flap corner. Price: $25.
