This is the first printing of THAT UNTRAVELLED WORLD. AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY. It was published in London by Hodder & Stoughton in 1969. This is the first printing of the first editon. The book measures 222mm tall x 138mm and has 286 pages, 27 b/w photos, ills, 2 EP maps + 6 maps, index. This is Shipton’s autobiography of climbing & exploration: Africa, Himalaya, Karakoram, Tibet, Everest, Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego.

CONDITION: green cloth, gilt lettering spine. Book is in very nice condition. The book is signed by Eric Shipton on the title page. There are no previous owners' names, marks or writing anywhere on or in the book, minor fore-edge foxing but no foxing on pages which are bright and clean, tight binding. The original dust jacket is in nice condition: 4mm tear upper front, some flecking at corner tips, clean, price still present on flap corner. Price: SOLD.
