CONDITION: Attractively rebound in green cloth with gilt lettering spine and original cover title patch relaid, TEG. Looks very similar to original binding. Fine condition. Complete with all plates, panoramas, maps. No foxing, tight binding, no owner marks, no writing, and no dampstaining on any pages. NOT ex-library. Rebinds of this book are more common than not because copies did not wear well and all original bindings of it fall apart since they were never sewn but glued. Even if you found a completely unused and unopened copy that had been stored in a box, the binding would fall apart if you tried to open the pages and read the book because the glue fails over time.
