1976 ITALIAN DHAULAGIRI EXPEDITION

FOURTH ASCENT OF THE SUMMIT


This is an original color poster from the 1976 ITALIAN DHAULAGIRI EXPEDITION. This poster was published at the time of the expedition in 1976. The leader of the team was Renzo de Bertolis. On 04 May Silvio Simoni and Giampaolo Zortea reached the summit in the mid afternoon via the NE Ridge route. Luciano Gadenz turned back during the summit attempt due to freezing feet. The team included Camillo and Goiampaolo de Paoli, Francesco Santon, Sergio Martini, Achille Poluzzi, Giampietro Scalet, Edoardo Zagonel, and Luigino Henry. The poster measures 495mm tall x 699mm and is printed on one side with the other side being blank white.

CONDITION: Original issue from the expedition. Folded twice with full vertical and horizontal crease, clean, no marks, no edge tears, no pin holes, no tape marks. Price: $10.
