This is the first printing of the first edition of ROUTES AND ROCKS. HIKER'S GUIDE TO THE NORTH CASCADES FROM GLACIER PEAK TO LAKE CHELAN by D. F. Crowder and R. W. Taylor. This book was published in Seattle by The Mountaineers in 1965. It measures 198mm tall x 138mm, and has 235 pages, 8 b/w photos, many sketches, several maps (including 3 folding topos with routes marked in rear pocket), index. The authors, geologists with the USGS, spent 20 summers studying and exploring the 600 square mile area covered in this book. Excellent, scarce guidebook.

CONDITION: Original pictorial hardcover. Nice condition with very minor soiling rear cover, tight binding, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, NOT ex-library, no foxing, folding maps in rear pocket are in fine condition. SOLD.
