This is the first printing of the first edition of NAHUEL-HUAPI: BELLEZAS NATURALES DE LOS ANDES EN LA PATAGONIA SEPTENTRIONAL by Alberto de Agostini. This book was published in Buenos Aires by the author in 1959. The book measures 293mm tall x 246mm, and has 15 pages of text in spanish & english, 61 full-page b/w photos, 2 maps (1 is folding), 2 b/w folding panoramas (67cm wide images). Text & photos describe this famous national park. Extremely uncommon book. The book was issued in various bindings: color pictorial card covers, green cloth with covers bound in, blue cloth with covers bound in, orange cloth with covers bound in. All of the cloth versions have the title and author stamped in gilt on the front cover.

CONDITION: Original light green cloth boards with gilt lettering front cover with color card wrappers bound inside. Rebound retaining original covers now with new dark green spine, one plate with 4cm thin crinkle into image dating to time of printing since ink is missing along crinkle, VG+. Price: $425.
