CONDITION: The book is bound in original blue cloth covered boards with gilt lettering spine. Previous owner's name is signed with date at top of blank free endpage. 4 pages have crease lines at the corners where the page corner was once folded. One of these pages has a little "n.b." penned at the very corner (see photo). Two facing pages have total of 5 tan spots (likely from tea) with following diameters: 1cm, 6mm, 4mm, 3mm, and 3mm (see photo). Otherwise, there are no marks, writings or stamps on any pages. Fore-edges are yellowed with age or smoke(? there is no scent or odor). No foxing. No tears. The binding is solid and tight. Covers are clean with a a little minor rubbing at tips corners and bottom edges. Overall nice condition. The original dust jacket is worn with small chips at corners & top spine, and some rubbing mainly at folds and near edges. The spine has some faint staining (probably from water). There is a 4cm tear upper front near spine that has been taped on the backside with micro-thin acid free archival tape. Original price is intact on inside flap corner. None of the jacket corners have been clipped. Price: SOLD.
