This is the first printing of the first edition of MOTHER CLIMBS THE GRAND TETON by Gwen Waldrop. This book was published by the author with no place or publisher indicated, but it is copyrighted 1973. The book measures 217mm tall x 139mm, and has 20 unnumbered pages, 9 b/w sketches. The author, the “mother” in the title, gives an account of her climb of the Grand Teton with her husband and another fellow. A storm broke when they were on the summit. This is not listed or noted in any of the usual mountaineering bibliographies.

CONDITION: Original stable-bound brown pictorial wrappers. Clean condition, very minor crease to upper outside corner of rear cover, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, solid binding. Price: $75.
