The book measures 239mm tall x 155mm, and has 287 pages, 51 b/w photos, glossary. Harlin was killed during the first direct ascent of the Eigerwand. Mainly climbing in the Alps, first American ascent of Eigerwand, Gary Hemming, Royal Robbins (Dru), the climbing & skiing school at Leysin, prominent climbers of the 1960’s, the fateful Eigerwand direttissima. Harlin’s parents were very displeased with this book.

CONDITION: Original beige cloth, blue title patch on spine with gilt lettering. The book is in fine, clean condition with no foxing, tight binding, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages. The dust jacket has no chips, no tears, no rubbing, clean, very minor darkening to spine. Price: $25.
