This is the first printing of BREAKING POINT. CHALLENGE ON ALASKA'S MT. HUNTER. It was published in Denver by Chockstone Press in 1984. This is the first printing of the first editon. The book was issued only in paperback (no hardcover ever published). The book measures 228mm tall x 153mm, and has 135 pages, 8 color plates, 3 appendices (1 is large equipment list). This is the account of a severe climb on Mt Hunter up the central buttress of the South Face. The author, Peter Metcalf, & Pete Athans spent several days on the route and lost some weight. Good read.

CONDITION: Original paperback binding (no hardcover binding was issued). Minor rubbing spine edges, no writing or previous owner's marks on any pages, no creased or folded page corners, light crease mark lower front cover near middle, overall very good condition. This book is becoming slightly hard to find. Price: $35.
