This is the fourth impression (same format, size, contents as first impression) of the first UK edition of ONE MAN'S MOUNTAINS -- ESSAYS AND VERSES by Tom Patey. Has chapters on Mustagh Tower, Rakaposhi, Norway, Alps & more. Published after Patey’s death in a climbing accident, Patey had previously expressed the desire to put together a book from his notes & writings. Patey was renowned for his winter climbs, his wit, sea stack ascents, and his nerve & skill on treacherous, loose ground. Good book.

CONDITION: Original blue boards with gilt lettering spine. The book is in fine condition with no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, clean, tight binding. The original dust jacket is in fine condition with no chips, no tears, clean, price-clipped flap corner. Price: $30.
